My built PC, so far (Warning, fuckton of big pictures) Also, why is the right side of pictures cut off?
So I started building my computer just a few days ago, and I thought that it would be kinda cool to post pictures of how it's going so far. Although I did see someone make a similar thread, and that kind of inspired me. I already put in the cpu, mounted it, and put in the ram, sorry about that, but I got the idea after I put the stuff in. I also have only 3/4 of the stuff so far, and I'm going to finish it up hopefully next week, if I am able to borrow the money that I need. The specs are:
SAMSUNG 22X DVD Burner Black SATA Model
COOLER MASTER Centurion 5 Black Aluminum Bezel, SECC Chassis ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Already Purchased
Western Digital Caviar SE WD1600AAJS 160GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply Already Purchased
Foxconn P45A-S LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard Already Purchased
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz 6MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Already Purchased
G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Already Purchased
ASUS EAH4850/HTDI/512M Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64-bit English for System Builders 1pk DSP OEI DVD
Ok so here I go with the pictures, I also had some trouble with the wires, I'll post the problem that I'm having with it right above the picture posted.
All of the boxes of the parts that I ordered.
A free hat I got with the motherboard, I'll be a chick magnet if I stroll with this baby on.
Same parts, but up close.
Ooo, fancy FoxConn motherboard, but I do wonder if they conned me, their customer support SUCKS. I can't even find a link to get a part. they didn't include the I/O plate.
Picture of the case from the front, I think it looks kind of decent, would rather have an Antec 900, but not enough cash.
Motherboard in the case already, wires aside.
Two PCIx16 slots, two PCIx1 slots (I think), and two PCI slots.
Arctic Cooler 7 Pro cpu cooler fan, it's fucking massive, had to take off the air duct on case.
Can someone tell me what I will do with these extra wires coming from PSU?
I was having some trouble connected these wires, but I think this one was pretty self explanatory.
Also this one wasn't that tough, there were 4 USB slots on the mobo.
Could someone please help me out on where to put this, especiall the AC'97 thing? It came from the same wire.
Yeah I also didn't know where to put this, there was nowhere in the manual, nor on the mobo that said anything about it.
Same with these, I don't know, and what's the + and - things for?
Apparently where the USB plug goes.
What do I do with this? It connects to one of the case fans, there is also another one, but it's not in the picture.
Also, totally unrelated
The boxes from my other thread, all of it came today, and what the hell do I do with it.
That's a fort, with more boxes in it, with boxes on top.
